Guide to Line 1: from Parede to CascaiShopping, with beaches, parks and leisure along the way
Between the Parede terminal and CascaiShopping, Line 1 follows an axis that combines neighborhood life, coastal landscapes, green spaces, culture and shopping in the municipality of Cascais.
The route begins in Parede, passes through the Parede Gardens and residential areas such as Areias, then continues toward São João do Estoril and the center of Estoril. This section is marked by its proximity to the sea, former summer resort areas and a network of shops and services serving both residents and visitors.
In the central part of the itinerary, the stops at Estoril Station, the Parish Council and Rua do Viveiro bring passengers closer to gardens, cultural facilities, restaurants and traditional attractions in the region. Morais Park
Located in the historic center of Parede, Morais Park is one of the best options for starting a trip along Line 1. Also known as “the duck park,” the space includes lawns, a pine grove, a lake with domestic birds, a children's playground, a kiosk and a picnic area.
