Guide to Route 1531: between Paço de Arcos, Leceia and São Marcos, a journey through shopping, gastronomy and history
Route 1531 connects Paço de Arcos North Station to the São Marcos Roundabout, crossing business districts, shopping areas, green spaces and important archaeological remains in Oeiras.
The route begins next to the Paço de Arcos railway station and follows the Paço de Arcos Road, in an area marked by the proximity of Oeiras Parque, Parque dos Poetas and large service areas. This is where the prehistoric settlement of Leceia is located and, farther away, the Barcarena Gunpowder Factory. In the final section, the route reaches Taguspark, with restaurants, gardens, event facilities and the campus of Instituto Superior Técnico, before ending in São Marcos.
